Privacy Policy
Last updated 21 August 2026.
This policy explains what happens to information when you use spinnerwheel.tools, operated by Spinner Wheel. It covers the site itself and the advertising shown on it.
The short version: the wheels run entirely in your browser, we hold no accounts and no database of users, and the only party collecting anything meaningful is our advertising provider. The detail is below.
What we do not collect
We do not ask you to create an account, and there is nothing to sign up for. We do not collect your name, email address, or payment details, because there is no feature on the site that would need them.
We never receive the contents of a wheel. The options you add, the question you type, the weights you set, and the results you spin are processed in your browser and stored on your device. They are not transmitted to us, so we cannot read them, sell them, or lose them.
What is stored on your device
The site uses your browser’s local storage to remember your setup between visits. This includes your options and their weights, your wheel settings, your question, your theme preference, and recent results.
Local storage is not a cookie and is not sent to any server. It stays in your browser until you clear it. You can remove it at any time by clearing site data for spinnerwheel.tools in your browser settings, which returns the site to its default state.
Advertising and Google AdSense
This site displays advertising supplied by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites.
Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet. This may involve collecting information such as your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view, and how you interact with ads.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com. You can also opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices. Opting out does not remove advertising; it makes the ads you see less relevant to you.
For visitors in regions where consent is legally required, such as the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland, consent for advertising cookies is collected through Google’s consent message before those cookies are set, and the choice can be changed or withdrawn at any time from the notice.
Analytics and server logs
The site is served as static files from a hosting provider. Like all web hosts, that provider processes standard technical request information such as IP address, user agent, and requested URL in order to deliver the page and protect the service against abuse. We do not use this information to identify individuals.
If we add a privacy-respecting analytics tool in future, this policy will be updated before it goes live and the change will be reflected in the date at the top of this page.
Children
Spinner Wheel is a general-audience tool and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Teachers and parents using the wheel with children should be aware that no personal information is required to use the site, and that any names typed into a wheel stay on the device in front of them.
If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, contact us at support@spinnerwheel.tools and we will act on it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, or to object to it, under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA. Because we hold no accounts and no personal database, we usually have nothing to disclose or delete.
For data collected by our advertising partners, those rights are exercised through the partner. Google’s privacy policy and controls are the right starting point. If you are not sure where to begin, email support@spinnerwheel.tools and we will point you in the right direction.
Links to other sites
Advertisements and occasional references may take you to sites we do not operate. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites, and this policy does not apply to them. Read their own policies before providing them with information.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the site changes. Material changes will be reflected in the last updated date at the top of the page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
